Shoreditch

The Baumhaus urban chic Shoreditch collection uses reclaimed wood salvaged from old boats and buildings in southern India; places such as Gujarat, Maharashtra and Rajasthan.  The aged timbers are typically between fifty and one hundred and fifty years old and are assembled by skilled craftsmen who create this characterful and eye-catching furniture.  As each piece is hand finished using a unique blend of reclaimed timbers every item is truly individual and environmentally friendly.  Wood is finished with a resilient, hardwearing, satin lacquer which also emphasises the colour and character in the timber.  A smartly constructed steel outer frame gives a sophisticated urban chic edge whilst also offering great structural rigidity. In character solid iron handles adorn selected pieces.
